By creating an account or using OneAayah you agree to these terms. Please read them; they are brief.
The service
OneAayah lets you read the Qur'an, listen to recitation, keep bookmarks and ask an assistant questions about the Qur'an's text. The service is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use.
Your account
- You must provide a valid email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person. Do not share accounts or attempt to access another person's account.
- We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to circumvent security, or place unreasonable load on it (for example automated scraping or bulk downloading of audio).
The assistant
Answers from the assistant are generated by an AI model from the Qur'an's text and its translation. They are offered to aid understanding and reflection. They are not religious rulings (fatwas), legal advice or medical advice, and may contain mistakes. For personal matters consult qualified scholars. Fair-use limits apply to the number of questions per hour.
Content and credits
The Arabic text and typeface are those of the King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex; the English translation is Saheeh International; recitation audio is by Mishary Rashid Alafasy. These belong to their respective owners and are provided for personal reading and listening within the service.
Availability
We aim for the service to be available at all times but do not guarantee it. We may change or withdraw features, and will try to give notice of significant changes.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, OneAayah is provided "as is" without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
